Students will gain a working knowledge of motors both in theory, construction types and basic operating principles. This course covers single-phase as well as 3-phase motor types. (Note: While it is possible to learn the theory of electric motors via self-paced correspondence, we highly recommend you consider the classroom version of this course in order to take advantage of the hands-on labs offered).
